A collection of all my articles.
Life is good. Really good.
I’ve let the cold weather, ice, and being cozy by the fire place and working on my business stop me from getting outside and moving my body. I manifested Hood River so I could BE in nature more. So, when I step outside it feels oh-so-good to honor myself, my body and what I’ve created.
The same thing happened to me when I lived in Canada. (Apparently, I needed to learn the lesson again.)
A few years ago, I was busy in front of my computer writing, coaching clients, and creating online programs, and taking online programs. One day, I was sitting next to my vision board and realized that I was living in my retreat home, on the lake, immersed in nature, yet I was IN my office working my tail off to manifest the next thing.
Then it hit me. How was I to receive something else when I haven’t even taken time to recognize and enjoy what I’ve already manifested. And what’s the point of creating in the first place if all I do is move on to the next thing, and the next thing, and the next thing?
Thanks to this awareness, I got outside more and I felt more alive, inspired, connected and grounded.
Why am I sharing all of this?
Two important lessons stand out to me.
Nature is healing. Nature connects you with you. Manifesting only comes when we are grounded in our bodies, and one of the best ways to do that is in nature.
It’s also important to honor and ENJOY what you’ve already created. Stop the busy work and focusing on your next manifestation. Pause and notice what’s here and take time to honor it right now.
I’m also sharing this because I’ve been wondering how to invite you to my upcoming Mindful Manifesting Retreat in March. It seems like it would be simple to just say “hey, I have a retreat, please come” but it’s more special than that. It’s a sacred container where you will leave with something created on the other side. It’s a time for you to experience how to live in the flow, how to trust, honor and care for your own inner magnet through meditation, movement, mother nature, and more.
Because I’ve been having a hard time putting words to the experience, I went to my “Ascended Masters” Oracle Cards for some guidance on what to share with you about the retreat.
And this is what FLEW out of the deck as I was shuffling.
“You’ve been indoors too long and you need a refreshing break from stressful conditions. No matter how busy you are, there’s always time to pause for fresh air. The healing effects of nature will revive your energy and outlook, and you’ll return to home or work with new ideas and a fresh perspective. Think of your nature retreat as an investment that will yield huge dividends.”
Pretty crazy, right? I love the guidance I receive from these cards.
While you can create your own retreat in nature (and I encourage you to do that!), if you know in your heart that it’s time to take a break, to be nurtured, and immerse yourself in the magic of manifesting with me, trust it.
Step into it. Be guided by it.
Know that March is the perfect time for new beginnings.

Years before I knew anything about manifesting, the law of attraction, or the power of thoughts and feelings, I had an experience that left no doubt in my mind that I am powerful. I was training for a half marathon as part of a relay for the full Oklahoma City Marathon. My friend and IContinue Reading
I’ve been going through some of my old journals and notice a huge shift in my manifesting journey. It began 10 years ago with my focus on becoming a millionaire and creating a successful business that reached thousands of people. Over time, I realized it wasn’t a million dollars I wanted, but rather financial freedom.Continue Reading

Ahh… this is an interesting space to be in. I spoke to this very thing in yoga a few days ago highlighting the quote: Honor the space of no longer and not yet. In a yoga class, it can be the space between shapes, the space between our breath, or the space between thoughts. InContinue Reading
Just like I’ve done many times before, I was happily waiting for people to arrive for my yoga class. As I looked at the schedule I noticed my friend had a very large class the day before. I was super excited for her and all the students who received her class. As the clock ticked closerContinue Reading
I find myself hesitating to share the following experience with you for two reasons. One, I can’t promise you would have the same results and two, you may think I am a bit crazy. Because finding my reset button has changed my life so much, I’m just going to keep the possibility alive that you CAN have theContinue Reading
For the last several years, I have been living on the “Path of Least Resistance.” This meant that anytime I experienced or felt any sort of resistance, I went the other direction. For me, it became a sign post to let me know that was not where I was supposed to be. Without realizing it, I let myContinue Reading
Take a long deep breath in to fill up. Slowly release and breathe out. Now imagine what your life would be like if you nourished yourself so well that you were able to show up in the world by giving everything from your overflowing cup. This is something I have been experimenting with over theContinue Reading
